Review on MeDAP by Andy Baker

I love that it can be used by other providers than just MDs/DCs like RN's. It helps our team keep up-to date w/our practices information so all are kept in one account! Sometimes there's lag time between when something gets entered into the MEADCAP — even if it was typed at exactly the same timestamp as you saw it last week (or year). That sometimes confuses patients, who don't understand how long ago certain things happened or why some things may not show (which makes them nervous & concerned about their own care). If they enter anything new while we have someone typing on paper charts, then those entries only pop back up after maybe 15 min. We've had good success with MedPcap since our department has been able to use this software together instead of separately. I like that it's very easy to use. It has all the tools you'll ever need in one place. As long as you know what you're doing it can do almost anything. There are some things that could be improved. A little more detail would help other users in the future. We've been able to track our patients' appointments better than before. It also gives us more time to spend with them which helps build positive relationships with our patients.
