Review on Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art DG HSM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras + Sigma USB Dock - Altura Photo Essential Accessory and Travel Bundle by Arnold Carrigan

Sigma Art series prime lenses are renowned for their quality and price. The 35 f/1.4 Art is no exception. I shot it side by side with a Canon 35 f/1.4L II and they are almost identical in image quality and construction. At less than half the price of Canon, it's an easy decision. The only thing I can say is that it doesn't always confirm focus at infinity when connected to my 5D Mark II IR converter; This is the only lens I have that shows this problem. The infrared autofocus is so esoteric, out-of-the-box, that it's not even worth mentioning. It works great with all my other (standard) EOS cameras, including my 20 year old Elan 7 film body. The "freebie" that comes with it is complete rubbish; It seems clear that the seller is just trying to dump excess inventory that no one in their right mind would pay money for. Luckily, the kit doesn't cost more than the lens and docking station, so you have nothing to lose.
