I was very happy to get these lamps for a very dark closet. I had no problems with the tape after installation, but the velcro for the power supply doesn't work properly. It's not sticky enough to stay on shiny latex paint, enameled metal, or flat eggshell wall paint. I originally purchased 4 units of these lights 11 months ago. Since then, 3 out of 4 have broken in the same place at different times. The micro USB charging port is unsoldered and plugged into the case rendering the device unusable. One came loose the third time I charged it so I can't deal with that. I'm not sure how to replace the rechargeable power supply as the light bars still work and are where I need them.
