Review on πŸ”‹ TYPECASE Touch iPad Air 4 Case with Keyboard - Magic Keyboard Style, Apple Pencil Compatible, Trackpad & Smart Backlit Keys, Keyboard for iPad Air 10.9 2020, iPad Pro 11 2018 (Space Gray) by Ynot Karlen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mostly good with some bad

What I like: 1) Durable, fits my iPad well and is well made. I'm sure it will protect my new iPad Air. 4.2) The keyboard feels good. 3) I like the backlight on the keys and the ability to change color and brightness. especially in low light conditions. 4) I love that I can rotate and customize the display endlessly, including using it as a book. 5) The price was reasonable compared to Apple products and others. What I don't like: 1) It's very hard to open the damn case. I struggle with it every time. 2) Every time I use the keyboard for the first time or after a few minutes, there is a noticeable and annoying lag. 3) When Bluetooth is connected, the touchpad will turn on. (That's good) What's bad is that when I use the touchpad-enabled keyboard, it goes haywire and moves my cursor everywhere. Fortunately, there is an option to disable the touchpad, otherwise this device becomes unusable. I've been playing around with accessibility and cursor options in the settings, but haven't been able to resolve this issue yet. So every time I use the keyboard at startup I have to go through the wait delay ritual and then disable the touchpad. 4) You can easily remove the iPad from the device like other models that are held by a magnet. It takes a little effort to slide the iPad in and out of the case. The upside to this...I know it won't fall out on its own!
