Product is easy to use. The old damper kept popping out of the bottom of the damper. Pull the chains, it will break. I had a box of crackers left over from replacing the crackers at church. The new flaps on my toilet were still coming off. Finally it dawned on me that the levers on the lower assembly were worn out. The raised edges on either side where you snap the flap have been worn away, allowing the flap to slip off when pulled. Holes in different toilets have different sizes. ** There are only 2 sizes. I underestimated the opening of my tank and ordered a smaller size. I thought it would be the task to remove the tank. It's been over 30 years since I replaced and upgraded the toilet parts (I've replaced a few valves over time) in my old toilet. I pulled out the old damper assembly to see what would happen. I pulled on it and it came loose. Cleaned up the spot and got a new damper assembly. The hole in the tank was the next size up they offer. I took the smaller size. It wasn't much bigger but I tore off the protective film and stuck it in the hole and it was covered in putty which spread very well. She blocked the hole and created a strong seal. *(Note: I've never experienced this before. Now I know those hands wear out.) Great product, highly recommend!
