Nice piece off softwares and easy learning curve

I like that it's free software so you can't go wrong if your looking to do some GIS work in java or other languages as well! It has many features which are useful for my job but also have more options than i need at times therefore they become useless once again :D The only thing about this program its not very user friendly when first starting out using all of these functions/options etc..
You will eventually figure them out though!! This isn’t bad just difficult sometimes finding what exactly one needs without having too much extra stuff added into their ‘to know list'.

Pros

Can perform different tasks within same application easily unlike similar programs such ArcGIS where certain steps require separate applications being run instead..it is integrated seamlessly together making use easier due because there aren' t multiple instances required throughout
