Bought a few weeks ago and the baby walker's legs are already sticking out through the floor; Luckily I didn't throw away the skis they replaced. The packaging says "Not recommended for outdoor use" and it's true. We don't camp with walkers, but apparently short walks on the concrete path between the car and our apartment or other places we visit are enough to do them. However, if the user stays indoors or is VERY light, their mileage will likely vary. Incidentally, the legs on our rollators are 1-1/8 inches in diameter, and we had no trouble installing the balls. First we pierced the center of the Y-shaped pattern with a sharp knife. tool and then pushed your foot into the hole as hard as you could. Lengthening the slots would have eased the effort, but I don't think the balls would have stayed in place.
