Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Ultimate 100% Accuri 2 Mountain Bike & Motocross Goggles: High-Performance Eyewear for MX and MTB Racing by George Karadimas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comparison of their transparent version and the "transparent " 100% Armmega glasses.

So. Before I bought them I bought 100% "clear" armega glasses. Here's my comparison and which pair of glasses is the winner for me: Lens clarity: - Winner: 100% Accuri (these). Why: Because they are REALLY clear! When I ordered the clear version of the 100% Armmega glasses, I received tinted lenses. At first I thought they accidentally sent me the wrong glasses so I contacted the company and it turns out they had indeed discontinued the REALLY transparent version of the Armega and thought they were just trying to get away with throwing out one of their tinted lenses . Lentils on it and call it spicy -_- Can't believe they would even try something like this. It's even STILL listed on Revain as a "clear lens" and will show the clear lens image even if they send you a tinted one. Lens Quality: Winner: 100% Accuri 2 (this one). Why: I don't know what kind of lens they put on the 'clean' armega but. he immediately blurred. I had to move to keep them from fogging up. However, they have never clouded me. I no longer have to take my glasses off at every stop! Comfort: - Winner: Draw. They are both not very comfortable as the foam is a bit scratchy/irritating and sometimes the plastic can scratch when putting them on. The outriggers on the 100% Armmega goggles didn't seem to do much (at least on my helmet). Both seem about the same to me. Overall Quality: - Winner: Closely equal, but I just want to say more about the Accuri 2 because the lens just keeps getting better. it's actually clear. Other than that, they appear to be made from the same materials - the Accuri 2 just doesn't have outriggers. Prize: - Winner: Accuri 2 (this one). They're $30 cheaper and honestly feel the same, just without the outriggers. ----------------------RESULTS: These Accuri 2 goggles are a clear winner for me. Cheaper, same quality but better (clear) lenses.-------------------- ------------ -- ---- I still can't get over the fact that they are trying to pass off obviously tinted lenses as 'clear' lenses on their armega goggles. and even show a photo of a clear lens, but then they send you a tinted one. I mean, how many people are they doing this with? Not to mention that the lens seems to be of lower quality? 0_o Of course they have good arguments, but I just can't believe they will try something like that. I often drive at night so I need REAL clear glasses. With this tinted (shown as 'clear') armega lens, NOTHING was visible at night.
