I've used a few of these to replace GX24q four pin CFLs for LED headlights. The four pins on these adapters only have two pins that connect to the pin and socket sleeve. They aren't marked which side of the line is so you'll need to get your ohmmeter. I plan to use them in the confined areas of my church where the lamp can be easily accessed with a ladder. A 9W LED (equivalent to 65W) produces about twice as much light as the 18W CFL that was in the fixture.
