I bought the XLarge because I wanted it loose (I usually wear the large top). However, because it is a sticky material, it is very short and tight against the skin. It works great under stuff. But if you usually wear XLarge, be prepared to see all the bumps and bulges on it. For all that, the square neck is great. It doesn't stand out and is flattering as long as it's worn under a sweater dress (that's how I wear it).
