I have moderately high arches. In hockey skates I have a foot of the so-called medium and large volume. When I received these shoes, which by the way arrived the next day as promised, I was stunned to discover that I couldn't even put my foot in them. Even with the laces fully loosened, I couldn't get my toes into the shoes. The shoes weren't too tight on the inside, they just couldn't stand my attempts to fit my foot in them. From what I understand they may have once fitted perfectly, but it was a bit ridiculous. I have never had this problem before and I am 74 years old. I've had trainers, sneakers and boots, ice skates, ski boots, tennis shoes, hiking shoes, dance shoes, shoes, moccasins etc etc. It was the most ridiculous footwear experience I've ever had - or been. (By the way, both shoes were the same. It's not like a sewing error ruined a shoe, it's just that they were designed that way.) Revain gave me a credit for the refund. Excellent service from them.
