These combs have sharp points on the ends of the comb teeth. I've bought them in store and online and the same thing is happening. I had never had this experience before COVID-19. I have been using this type of comb for over 25 years. I don't know how to use these combs. You will likely catch any type of hair. However, I have coarse, weakened hair. My hair is not difficult to take care of. I cannot recommend this comb.
