I love this humidifier. I've had a few leaked in the past and ruined things. This one clears so much fog and doesn't leak. I've been using it for about a week now and haven't had any problems. As I was moving it, it leaned back a bit and the emergency shutdown immediately disabled it so I can be sure it's safe. It also turns off when empty. I have found that when I put it on the ground, the ground gets a little damp from the mist. But when I put it on the shelf (where I really wanted it but was afraid it might leak and ruin it) nothing around was wet. If fingerprints bother you, Schwarz leaves them out. I don't think there will be white, but that's not important enough to worry about. I am very happy with my purchase.
