Works the same as the OEM version.
I've already changed the heating element twice. What I like about this version compared to the OEM version is that it comes with an uninstall/install connector. When I bought the OEM version I had to cut my own socket to get the item. I haven't used the spar much since the season ended, but with the new element and screen it heats up well and smokes very little.
