Due to the ongoing 2020 pandemic I'm spending more time than ever cooking at home. As I become more serious about cooking I wanted to have the perfect medium rare steak at home and for that I realized a food thermometer would be very helpful. So I clicked on this food thermometer as all the reviews looked promising and the price seemed reasonable. I have now cooked dozens of steaks with it and thanks to this little gadget I was able to get those steaks exactly how I wanted them! The device is very easy to use. Just pull the needle and stick it into the meat. Boom. know the temperature You don't even have to turn it on/off. When you pull the needle out, it turns on automatically, which might not sound very impressive but is actually quite handy, especially when your kitchen is busy. A few more pluses of this device: You can set up the device in Celcius, which is great for those who are more familiar with Celcius. I've lived in the US for quite a while now but I'm still struggling with the temperature conversion lol. This switch on this device is saving my brain 😂 The bottom of the device seems to be all magnetic. So you can just stick it to your fridge! How convenient! I live in a tiny apartment with a very limited kitchen. For me, not having to look for a place to store this thermometer is a plus. I don't have to rummage through all the little lockers to find where it is when I need it. It's right on the fridge door, haha. What availability! One thing I didn't really like about this product is the battery. I wish it could be charged with a micro USB / USB-C cable. It uses a relatively inaccessible battery (CR 2032). It does come with an extra battery though and I don't think those two batteries will run out any time soon so it's ok haha. Overall, I would recommend this device to anyone looking for a food thermometer!
