I was disappointed with this product on several counts

I have Android, LG and have been using Jabra Extreme2 for several years when it finally wouldn't turn on. I've used several different Bluetooth devices including Plantronics and I usually return to Jabra because I'm happy with the support and performance. However, I was disappointed with this product for a number of reasons. Although the clarity of the sound was good, the volume seemed a bit low. My biggest problem was the choice of language. Pressing the dial button gave me a hint for the command. After saying "Dial" or "Dial home" I was either prompted to type the command again or it asked something completely wrong, such as "Did you say OPEN CALCULATOR?" On average I managed to understand myself after 15-20 attempts. Then you will be asked for confirmation. "Did you say DIAL HOME?" When I answered "yes" I got 1 of 3 responses. 1) It just wouldn't do anything; no hints or anything. 2) It will say "Command not recognized" and the whole process will start over. 3) He pretended to dial a number and then hung up midway for no reason. I called tech support and was given links to 1) how to reset the device 2) how to update the firmware and 3) what I was told was the correct instructions on how to speak the commands to make them easier to understand. I immediately worked with all the links with the following results. 1) Reset the device only to find the exact same behavior. 2) I updated the firmware, only the behavior is exactly the same. 3) Clicked on a link that should give me more instructions on how to say the commands so it's easier to spot. The link took me to a section of the manual that clearly stated in one sentence that in order to say a voice command I had to press the voice command button. I was also asked to download and install the Jabra Assistance app on my phone as it also helps with voice commands. Once installed, the app had nothing to do with voice commands. This was handy for setting up things like having Jabra read my texts to me etc. It didn't help with speech recognition though. My second tech support call ended much quicker than the first after the tech told me that voice recognition was phone dependent. If I had any trouble, then the problem was with my phone. Keep in mind this will ONLY work with another Jabra headset. Today I am working on the return of this new Jabra. On a whim I tried the old EXTREME@ again, and the doggy thing worked. It connected to my phone INSTANTLY and I was able to make multiple calls initiated by voice command, Flawless! Once I've finished going back to stealth I'll probably look to the old Extreme2. I have rarely been so disappointed in customer service as I am with this product. I assume this will work if you want to call your phone and THEN hang up, but for full speakerphone (as some states require) it's a total fail for me.
