I installed this on a 1999 Ford Ranger steering wheel. I didn't use it on the rounder part of the wheel. It was more of an oval shape where I installed mine. The metal clip is made of soft metal, so it was easy to shape. Once I got it where I wanted it, I used the included hardware to tighten it up. You cannot use the steering wheel cover if you attach it to the outside of the steering wheel. Make sure you do not block the airbag deployment area when installing. In general, I like the spinner. It reminds me of the forklifts I used to use. This makes it easier to work when parking backwards or turning. After installing the spinner, there is a lot of up and down movement. A couple of plastic washers will help close this gap. There is no bearing to help it rotate, it just rotates on the bolt itself. Not a smooth rotation but still works well. I wish it was matte black rather than gloss black, but it still looks good.
