Slightly flimsy household item
I used to have other dryer balls that were much stronger (and much more expensive). They are light and loosen up clothes well. But the little protrusions are already starting to break off, so I don't think they'll last too long (months instead of years, that's how long my previous set took before they started falling apart). It's a good product for the price, but you might be better off buying a more expensive (and more durable) version that will last longer. (By the way, I've also used balls of wool for drying. These work well, but cause a lot of fluff in the dryer filter.)
