This is GREAT protection for your iPad. I have 4 family members who use them. I was so impressed with the first we bought these as we needed to replace the lids (like the Apple lid). I saw a video of them throwing an iPad from crazy heights (stairs) with this case on and I was sold to buy one for my son when we gave him his first iPad and like I said then we replaced all our cases with these, they are so good and worth the cost all day long. For example, I dropped my iPad with an Apple case off the seat of a minivan onto the floor and was done. Broken. I had to buy a new iPad and got this case to protect it. Make sure you get the right size. I highly recommend it. Instead of poking the edge with your fingernail to open it, simply slide it away from the magnets by pulling on the tab with your fingertips. Love love love these. (Comment added on October 29). I accidentally dropped my iPad from an ottoman onto a wooden floor. No questions! That's about the same height as my last iPad when it broke - so glad I switched to this case back then!
