This is GREAT protection for your iPad. I have 4 family members who use them. I was so impressed with the first we bought these as we needed to replace the lids (like the Apple lid). I saw a video of them throwing an iPad from crazy heights (stairs) with this case on and I was sold to buy one for my son when we gave him his first iPad and like I said then we replaced all our cases with these, they are so good and worth the cost all day long. I bought this a few months ago for my new iPad mini 5 after using the same brand on my iPad mini 3 for several years. The design and installation method are the same. I wasn't thrilled at first. The front flap covers the screen, but this doesn't provide a proper seal - liquids can seep between the edge and the flap. Beautiful and sturdy body, the screen coating is beautiful and protects well. The transparent back is a nice touch and easy to showcase with custom skins.
