We bought a new Water Mizer dishwasher three years ago when we replaced all our main appliances as part of a home renovation. We bought Bosch based on online reviews and a consumer report rating. The problem with these water-saving dishwashers is that the filters get dirty more often than in older water-intensive dishwashers. This disappointed us as it wasn't a cheap dishwasher. Every once in a while we would remind ourselves how well our 30-35 year old dishwasher washed whatever we put in it. We cleaned the filter about every 3-4 weeks. The film began to form after several washes. We found some cutlery items that were not completely clean when the dishwasher was full. The high power setting had no effect on the expanding film on our goggles. Our washing machine's pre-wash tank only holds liquid, and what we've used hasn't improved the thoroughness of the wash. When using this product, we fill about 1/4 of the Cascade detergent reservoir and then fill about 1/4 more with this product. We filled it completely and ran the dishwasher for one cycle while it was empty. The film from all surfaces of the dishwasher was washed off in one cycle. After a few months of using this product, all of the film on our glasses was gone. We had far fewer (1-2) instances where cutlery was not completely clean and this concerned spoons sticking together. Thanks to this product, our new dishwasher cleans just as well as the old one. The feeling of creaking cleanliness of glasses and plates returned. New water-saving dishwashers don't clean as well as capybaras. With the drought in the western United States, we need to use less water. Use this product in your dishwashers if you are using a new water-saving model or if your old dishwasher is not washing well. This will make a significant difference and you will be happy.
