Doesn't wash well

I loved this suit for my 9 year old son but after washing and drying the shorts wrinkled to tennis ball size (and there are no specific washing instructions). I've never seen anything like this. The shirt was fine but needs to be worn with another pair of shorts. I expect more from Eco.
