I love the options that come with this kit. I used it to hook up my son's truck dash cam. It comes with fuse taps for 5 different types of fuses. I tried using the mini fuse plug but it didn't fit my specific application on the ranger am 01 as I couldn't fit it into the fuse panel and even if I could I wouldn't be able to fit the panel to install. I ended up using a spade connector to connect the fuse panel after the fuse so I had protection. If it worked, it would mean the connectors weren't needed. I have used these fuse panel adapters before and almost all applications required some trimming but I have never been able to fit this adapter. I like that the connector to connect to the DVR is straight. Most of them are weird and it always feels wrong. That means no more adjustments. I also like that it comes with a mini to micro USB adapter so now if I switch devices I don't have to repeat the wiring. I would buy it again for the next one so I don't have to crimp the wiring every time.
