Great little kit. I really liked the adapters, so soldering is not required. You literally just have to figure out which fuse you want to connect. This kit even includes multiple adapters so you can use the appropriate one. would recommend.

However it powers my dash cam (with parking control). I had to file the plastic around the extra fuse plug to install it in my fuse box, no big deal I have it on one Hooked up to the 12v permanent fuse in the cab on Friday, car was parked over the weekend, drove to work Monday morning and the car wouldn't start.. Had to step in. As frustrated as I was really wanting to use this feature on my dash cam.

The cable set goes very well with the Crosstour DVR kit I bought. Installation was easy once I figured out which fuse to use. I ended up using a backup to keep my dash cam running 24/7. There were a range of different sized fuses in the kit and installation was easy. The clips don't hold well on porous surfaces so I had to stick them to the glass and it worked. More than enough cable length. I've been using this product for the past month and a half to connect the under dash fuse box to the dash cam and have never had any trouble starting the car so I assume the power out is working fine. It's actually pretty easy to install and works when properly connected. However, the camera can only be switched on permanently with this, even if an additional fuse is plugged into a socket that should only get hot when the car is switched on. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a quality issue. In any case, I don't need or want my dashcam to be on all the time, even when parked, as I'd rather it not drain my battery. I love the options that come with this kit. I used it to hook up my son's truck dash cam. It comes with fuse taps for 5 different types of fuses. I tried using the mini fuse plug but it didn't fit my specific application on the ranger am 01 as I couldn't fit it into the fuse panel and even if I could I wouldn't be able to fit the panel to install.
