Go at least one size bigger. When I received them I thought they would break a little but they were a lot tighter than I expected. The rubber band on the left boot started to break after a few days and I didn't even practice kung fu in it. Another thing, the rubber outsole is cheaply made, there was an extra rubber tab that I had to cut off with an X-Acto knife.
