Arrived broken for my opinion

Appears well built and is very attractive although does not work and shot fire out of every crevice and crack in the lighter except for where it's supposed to come out of and about set me on fire

Great lighter but takes some getting use to.

I bought extra batteries just in case but came with a new china battery. Still running after a month. Use for smoking the pipe. Little tricky at first as when you let go of ignite button the flame changes from torch to regular flame. Easy to use once you get to know it but if a friend asks to use it, it is funny watching them try to figure it out before they ask. Butane goes semi quickly depending on use small tank.Once in a while the gas valve doesn’t open all the way, so close and reopen…

Broken when I got it

I got this for a gift. It has a 7 day return well it was past by time I gave it as a gift and found out it don't light at all. Very upset about it. I won't buy another one ever again. It would of been a perfect gift. Now I know why it has a 7day return only on it. crap.

SOMGEM trench lighter!

I can't tell you anything that I liked about the somgemAcceptance appearance. The biggest problem I find with the trench lighter is that the flame is just so very smallThat it is virtually useless for pipe smoking cigarette smoking maybe different but I don't smoke cigarettes.My biggest disappointment was that I could find no way to enlarge the size of the flame. Others might find it adaptive to their needs

Broken upon arrival. won't light and is seeping gas from everywhere.

Terrible 5 min after deliver i have a lighter that might explode. Seems super safe. leaking gas from all openings. Definitely a return. And a warning to all who buy this be careful

Very Nice Lighter on my review.

I purchase the sleek black model, and I could not be happier. The machine work is super, and the fitment is perfect. The way it ignites is (believe it or not) unexpected and delightful. Absolutely a conversation piece. I LOVE IT!

Better than a zippo

I love this lighter. Looks unique, retro, but elegant. This is way better than a zippo. Lights every time and the kerosene lasts for weeks without a refill, not days.

Difficult to light on my review.

This is a very nice looking lighter it feels great in my hand cuz it's weighted but it is the most difficult lighter to get lit once it's lit it's a great lighter it's just I have to use both hands to light it it's hard to click over and it's a puzzle how to actually click it I will be sending this back because things in my life have got to flow easier than lighting this lighter

Total waist of money.

I can not believe there are that many positive reviews for this.First the switch for flame was implied but the pictures, was for the normal flame or blow Torch flame. No, it is for the gas valve. Which after wasting 2 refiles I figured it out, they it took 3 more refiles to get the flame just right. What a waist, So I did read the full small manual, and it did tell me that's what the switch is for. What a stupid design, all you got to do if pause for a moment or so, or forget to flip the valve…

Flint spring not strong enough for better sparks.

Not strong enough flints spring. After added second flint spark more better and start every time. It's why I put 4 star. Looks great. Will look how long time will work on one filling. Zippo if you hold in pocket done after couple days. If in case around one week. But that looks will work more longer.
