Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best key holder I have ever used is FAR!

***UPDATE BELOW*** I purchased this Secure-A-Key from Lucky Line earlier this month and have been using it for a couple of weeks and absolutely love it! As you can see from my photos I carry a lot of keys for work (and these are just my everyday keys) so of course I need a reliable way to keep them handy. Prior to this product, I used the Nite Ize "S-Biner Ahhh" to carry my keys at the 2 o'clock position on the belt loop. While the Nite Ize cost me about the same price, it wasn't nearly as good a product (for what I needed) as this Lucky Line Clip. My belt loop started to come loose, my keys hung too low and rubbed against my thigh (resulting in a hole in my leg), and the spring clip didn't always close (resulting in my dropping my keys). With the Lucky Line Clip, I can now wear it anywhere on my belt, allowing me to place it where I felt most comfortable (regardless of whether it's hanging from my belt loops or not). Also, the key hook is small enough to keep my keys in a tight bundle rather than being thrown around, yet has enough room for me to move them around and grab my keychain from the back without having to take them all out first. It also prevents keys from swinging while walking to avoid wearing holes in your jeans anymore. Work, I'm constantly taking the keys out and putting them back in the clip, about 50 times a day on average. This means I get a lot of use of the pull rod that holds the keys, but I've had no problems with it losing its strength. It always returns to where it should be and keeps my keys where they should be. Having only had this product for a few weeks, it's hard for me to say how well it's holding up. long term but I will be posting an update in a few months to let everyone know how he is doing. carry so many keys with you. I can tell you it held up and still held the clamp tight. I would downgrade this to 4.5 stars if I could. The only reason is that there is a ridge on the back of this clip that will cling to your pants (I'm assuming the key clip doesn't slide over your belt). and after a few months this bar tore a hole in my pants because of its sharp edge. This actually happened with two pairs of work pants that I wore every week. Keys stayed safe and he did his job so I don't think it deserves a 4 star rating but I wanted to make sure this negative was noticed by others. I was still happy with my purchase but wish there was a rubber coating or something on that edge to prevent damage.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
