I jumped out and dropped my iPad on the floor

Clamps don't have enough "depth" or grip width to hold the iPad MINI. The product could be improved with a longer clip and a slightly wider jaw for a secure hold without "bouncing". Those two separate clamps just aren't strong enough for the job.
