Review on 🧔 The Art of Shaving Beard Oil for Men: Tame and Moisturize Beard Hair with Non-Greasy Finish, Bourbon Scent, 1 Ounce by Christine Fugleberg

I have a hard time giving this beard oil a high rating even though it works exceptionally well. In terms of beard softening, this is the best beard oil I've tried. I have used most major beard care brands and have found The Art of Shaving Beard Oil to be the best for keeping my short beard soft and smooth. What keeps me from raising my rating above three stars is the scent. My god, he's strong. Forget cologne with this one. A very strong "smoky vanilla" smell profile that doesn't really remind me of bourbon, but it does remind me a lot of a cookie bakery. It's a pleasant scent, but not one that I would associate with my facial hair. I also tried The Art of Shaving Sandalwood Beard Oil and had the same impression: great oil but too strong a scent. It would be great if The Art of Shaving offered an unscented version of this beard oil. Or just consider reducing the flavor. It is too much.
