After the birth of our first child, my wife and I bought all the baby items that books, websites, relatives and friends recommended. This included a diaper pail for storing dirty diapers. Even with scented bags and a storage system designed to minimize odors, we found that diapers containing baby poo made the environment smelly. Instead of a bucket, plastic bags are now attached. and occasional cleanings we simply use these bags. I checked the price at both Target and Walmart and Revain is cheaper. A bag holds two diapers, but I would recommend a 1:1 ratio. I take out the trash once a week and the trash can in my hot garage doesn't stink because the bag is scented. This is a much better solution than a diaper pail.
