works well, dose what he said. Take your time and measure twice. look on youtube how to install it. Yes I like having extra space :) I also have a hatchlift upgrade. Used a couple of times, worked fine, and then one of the lift arms wouldn't close - I had to remove the arm to lower the bed. It was hard work when you are on a camping trip with your grandkids. No help and I had to lift the mattress off the bed and unscrew the lift arm. At the end of the day I stopped saying this was a bed lift kit I would buy. It's too late for me to get my money back :(
