I like extra space

works well, dose what he said. Take your time and measure twice. look on youtube how to install it. Yes I like having extra space :) I also have a hatchlift upgrade. Used a couple of times, worked fine, and then one of the lift arms wouldn't close - I had to remove the arm to lower the bed. It was hard work when you are on a camping trip with your grandkids. No help and I had to lift the mattress off the bed and unscrew the lift arm. At the end of the day I stopped saying this was a bed liftโ€ฆ

Bed still falls - weak and won't hold the lift

We've replaced the original RV queen with a full memory foam queen. It was difficult to lift and of course it wouldn't stay in place once lifted. So I bought these lifters in the heaviest models available - presumably they could handle a full memory foam king. Installation was easy as these racks were the same size as the original ones. Once in place I was very disappointed that the bed didn't hold up. Will return to the place. Yes, now lifting is easier and lowering is slower. But I need themโ€ฆ

Went like clockwork!

We've replaced our camper king-size mattress with a regular mattress with an extra cushion that is much heavier. The shock absorbers that came with the RV (100 pounds each) weren't strong enough to hold the mattress up, leaving the under bed storage useless. I ordered a replacement but it doesn't fit either. They hold the mattress up with little effort on my part. Also, it doesn't take a lot of strength or muscle power to push it back. Now I have so much extra storage space. I'm so glad I tookโ€ฆ

Works great when replacing old elevators! (this is not strong enough)

We bought a caravan with a standard bed in it. We currently live in it full time and wanted a more comfortable mattress so we bought a memory foam mattress. It proved to be too heavy for the current trailer lifts. I ordered heavy lifts for a king bed (although we have an RV queen) and all we had to do was unplug the old lifts from the balls and plug in the new ones. It was SUPER easy and holds the mattress and wood like a dream! We're considering reinforcing the wood underneath, so how couldโ€ฆ

crap instructions. The supports are too rigid.

The instructions are kinda crap because the measurements they give you are wrong. It says the lid bracket (top) should be 22 inches from the end of the bed frame. The bed frame or (bottom) bracket needs to be 3 inches from the end of the bed frame. If you do it this way, the bed raises slightly, but it doesn't hold up well and only opens 11 inches. And it's useless. I had to remove the bed frame bottom fasteners 8 inches from the end of the frame. To get this you need to raise the lid to theโ€ฆ
