My top carrycot recommendations were Baby Delight Bedside Me Dreamer Bassinet, HALO 360 Rotating Bassinet, Comfy Bumpy Co Sleeping Bassinet, and Dream On Me Skylar Bassinet. After researching and reading the reviews, I settled on the Dream On Me Skylar Bassinet in Mint. I'm a new mom so I overdid my research. because that's not what new moms do? In any case, I was very happy to get a bassinet for my newborn baby girl. My wonderful husband, coming home from work, immediately assembled a cradle for me. At first I really liked the cradle! The product looked as presented, it was easy to assemble and had all the parts, the max height worked well for our bed (27 inches high), the bassinet mattress was firm but not hard, the color was great and it had it even cute star pattern inside. After I let my excitement down, I noticed a big problem that I didn't really like. The cradle rocked back and forth violently, making noises as it rocked. When tightening connections that can cause wobble, read the instructions, watch videos, and read reviews to learn how to fix the problem. I think this problem could harm my child or be safe? No, because of the direction it was swinging, but it was important. Will this issue worry me? Yes I will be able to hear it every time the kids move as they get older and weigh more. Would you find another use for the bassinet for my future second child? I'm not entirely sure about the durability. I haven't written too many reviews for any product or service I've received, but I think it's important to leave a review for this product. I didn't realize this until I became a mom, but moms spend a lot of time figuring out what's best for their kids and spend good money on what they buy for their kids. This cradle had most of the features I was looking for but the overall quality of the advertised product was not there. I was disappointed that I had high hopes for the first carrycot I ever bought but was shocked at the poor stability of the product. I would rather pay a little more to get something that I know will serve my future children. There's nothing worse than putting your hopes and worries into a product, only to be disappointed and return to the drawing board. Again, the bassinet has a great look and feel overall, but the quality and stability should be greatly improved.
