I originally bought this case for my 15" MBP because I needed a slim, no-frills case with room for an external HD+ charger. It holds up great and allows me to fit my laptop in a backpack that doesn't have a built in laptop compartment. It's a padded case, so if you have something small and pointy in your bag, it could press against the screen. The only thing there that could improve it for me is a stronger plastic backing in the accessory pocket to separate the storage pocket from the main computer pocket and disperse the uneven pressure of small accessories. To get around this I store the laptop just upside down with it The accessory attaches to the back of the computer. If you have a lot of small items in your pocket and carry them on your back, it can damage the screen with enough pressure. I bike to work quite often and never had a problem. but I could see it happening. If you need a case to protect against dirt and scratches, this is a good choice that will last for several years or with frequent use.
