Cable company hacked
I knew what I was looking for, so I ordered this device. Unfortunately, my coax coming out of the wall was also female, so it didn't work. After ordering another unit I discovered that the cable company had originally installed a coaxial connector with a female extension, so I removed the extension and the unit originally purchased was usable and I canceled my second order. So in the end it turned out that this unit was correct.
