Review on πŸ’Ό Optimal Functionality: Grunden Men's Cargo Unleashing Maximum Convenience and Style by Omar Obong

not 100% waterproof

As a fisherman from Southeast Alaska (Gillnet) I gave this one 3 stars. It's light and compact, has handy pockets and you feel pretty light in it compared to other heavy rainwear options. However, I have found that this raincoat is not fully waterproof. We have long open pants in the Southeast and we guarantee you'll get wet after a few days of wearing them. I guess a "breathable" raincoat is too much to wish for and you can expect water to seep in. If you fish Bristol Bay or anywhere with shorter openers this may suit your needs as I try to stay dry at all times. the first few hours of wearing, unless it's raining heavily.

Pros
  • Protection wherever your adventure takes you. These tough, waterproof pants are hard wearing yet comfortable and practical for everyday fishing use.
Cons
  • Not Safe
