Bizarrely flimsy good for me

These bend for no good reason, even when working straightforward petite stitches. I can’t figure out why they are bending. They are the exact opposite of the John James needles which snap for no good reason.I was hoping to find a somewhat comparable, less expensive alternative to tulips, but these ain’t them.
