We placed them in the bottom of a large heavy chest we got from Pier 1 that we use as a coffee table so we can move the chest to the side if we need to make room for a family activity are great. They are thin enough that we cannot see them under the breast and it takes a little nudge to move the breast to keep the breast still and not move at every light touch which is perfect for that, what we need. We didn't drill any holes in the chest for them, just placed them on the wood itself and they're still thin enough not to lift the chest up too much and show underneath.
