Update - Problems with the first unit but the seller fixed everything - The first unit we received was most likely returned, there were no instructions and most of the accessories were missing. The seller wanted to fix everything and sent us a new sewing machine and it had everything we needed. This is a good first block to learn how to sew, even for more experienced seamstresses. It's durable, has lots of options, and is easy to use. When we opened it, there was no manual for the machine, it's a very important item. I received a PDF which I printed out and it helped. Then we noticed that some things that should have been with the machine were missing: bobbin, thread, needle threader. I do think this machine was probably returned by another customer and then shipped to us. Not very happy, my daughter too and it's her birthday. I will update this after we use it to evaluate how the machine works, hopefully we can find out with the printed manual.
