I use it to listen to music and podcasts while gaming, cleaning and working on my laptop at home. The noise cancellation is excellent, as is the sound quality. I had no trouble connecting my phone and laptop to it and I can roam freely around the house, even upstairs while charging my phone on the first floor without losing connection. I haven't measured how long the battery lasts, but it's definitely a few hours. I have no complaints about the battery life because I don't need it all day and I can just charge it before bed or when I'm doing something I don't need it for.
