Wasn't expecting this to truly compete with a full size hand truck but didn't expect it would have issues maneuvering with about 50 pounds on it considering it's rated for up to 220 pounds. It works pretty well on hardwood floors indoors but is difficult on concrete sidewalks. Had about 50 pounds in a box on the hand truck and when trying to move the cart either pushing or pulling, the handle would flex quite a bit before the hand truck moved. It feels like the handle will snap off. I didn't test it with much more weight as I didn't want to break it but from my experience I'd say you couldn't get anywhere near 220 lbs unless the cart was on a very smooth surface like hardwood floors.
