Solid and functional assembled. However, the fact that it is a 10 amp switch means very few things in my garage can use it as most tools are rated for more than 10 amps. If you mount it on the ceiling, the reset button also makes it harder to reset. I have to take the ladder to reset the switch. Overall it works, but I'd happily spend a little more and buy something heavier. Maybe good for those concerned with small things, maybe. But just don't cut it if you need it for your garage and want to use corded tools with it.
