Bought for my wife because she abused her ipods for several years. She liked the pink color and it works great and protects the iPod well. Please note that this case consists of a small silicone sleeve that fits snugly around the iPod and then transitions into a hard shell of the same color that surrounds the iPod and is fitted with a clip. There's a lot of tension on this clip, which is good for keeping it pressed against clothing, but to open the clip you'll need to press a little harder on the top near the screen with your thumb. A bit of concern is that either the screen will crack under pressure or the thin bezel around the screen will flex to open the clip. For that reason I probably wouldn't buy it again, but since it adds two layers of protection and works as advertised I believe it still deserves 4 stars. It is possible that the tension of the spring will decrease over time. When this happens I will let you know. Update: Your iPod is still alive and well after 9 months of constant use and daily use at the gym. The clamping spring tension stayed the same and there were no problems. UPDATE: It's been a little over a year and my wife told me today the clip broke on the little plastic hinge that connects the clip. in a case that doesn't look like it can be fixed. I think I'm glad this case protected her iPod the whole time so I'll leave it at 4 stars but after seeing it break in such a weak spot I'll probably look elsewhere .
