Great build quality at this price
The stiffness out if the box was great for me at 185lbs. This was to replace the front forks on an amazon-purchased folding mountain bike, the "Outroad 100". The weakest spot was the forks. I'm a casual rider. Not serious mountain biker. Can not comment on serious performance for competitors etc. Build quality was very good for me in this cost range.
