I was having a hard time finding a navy blue dress for my 6 year old daughter so I was lucky enough to stumble across this item. It has a soft satin lining and a chiffon outer layer. It has held up very well (so far) for my daughter, who constantly gets dirty and crawls around on the floor. The flower accent is a separate element that you pin where you want, but it went through the wash and the flower came loose from the base (my mistake) so I had to re-glue it. But it worked great for our family photos. My daughter is 6.48 pounds and we ordered a size 6.
