I recently bought this wallet to replace the last 8 years and eventually started to fail. I needed it to be useful as a "front pocket" wallet. I have had this product for over a month now and would like to take the time to give my opinion to help potential buyers. The wallet has a minimalist design, which is why I chose it. The material (leather) is thicker than department store "leather". I would suggest a little thicker than 1/16 inch. I don't carry around a lot of cards, like seven or less, so this works for me. During the break-in period, the wallet becomes more structured and hugs the lining in the front pockets more tightly. This was not a problem after the 4th or 5th week. The wallet was used carefully and once got completely wet while hiking in the rain in Seattle. The wallet has dried and has regained its original shape and color with no imperfections or broken seams. I really like this product. A NOTICE. On the outer edges on opposite sides are 2 rectangular magnets that keep the wallet closed when not being accessed. This slightly increases the volume of the empty wallet, and I'm not sure if this has any impact on other more delicate card strips. My cards don't work.
