the tint of the mirror is not very good, even with my factory tinted windows. Doesn't glare at night and isn't too dark compared to my standard mirror and also slightly larger than my standard mirror but it depends on the car. I connected a camera directly to the switch so I can check my trailer while driving down the road and I can use both the mirror and camera at the same time in my setup. Only downside is the camera bolt is not centered on the camera which deducts 1 star. Unfortunately my setup requires the camera to be moved a bit to get the best angle of view, but it is the side with the stand that needs to be moved as the setup was not perpendicular to the perpendicular road. Other cameras I've installed have center posts, and some have included shim kits to help with camera alignment. The rest of the camera works perfectly. I may replace the camera part in the future. As others have pointed out, the camera turns on with a slight delay, but I use the camera in addition to my mirrors, not instead, and since I connected the camera to a switch rather than the reversing lights, this isn't an issue for me . . In my other car, the camera is on the infotainment screen and it's too bright because unlike this camera it doesn't have a dimming function and therefore doesn't affect my night vision
