The actual item I received is significantly wider than the photos. See my uploaded photos. The "cover" portion (which contains the screen) of the item itself extends from both sides of the screen and contains tiny speakers that are neither loud nor powerful. On the physical device itself, there's no "menu" button to quickly jump to the disc's main menu (there's one on the remote). The DVD player doesn't remember the last playback position when I turn off the device, and I couldn't get around the annoying FBI warnings and piracy pop-ups every time the device was turned on. My device had scuff marks (similar to duct tape residue) _inside_ the screen that I couldn't clean. It doesn't look like the device was assembled in a clean room. The product itself looks more like a hollow plastic case (like the fake electronics you see in furniture store windows) rather than a solid piece of tech. I decided to return mine for this reason and also because the size is larger than I expected.
