Review on Vornado CR1 0073 06 Small Whole Circulator by Helen Keffer

This fan was mainly used as a bathroom fan. Don't let its small size fool you, this thing is a beast in flight and quite powerful at altitude. Be aware that when it comes to moving a lot of air, it's loud on high notes. To be honest while using it in my small bathroom it's a bit overkill but it's great after a hot shower. The hiss is OK at low frequencies, just a little whispery, and it's still fairly quiet at mid-range frequencies, but not at all quiet. Then turn it up and this sucker will let you know what it's all about! The fan looks solidly designed and built and doesn't feel cheap at all. I love how Vornado designed it so that instead of dangling from the motor area, the cable sits at the base and feels like it's hidden and fan-fed. However, they did it wisely. The fan comes with a standard 5 year warranty, so vornado will replace it if something goes wrong. I will say that I've noticed that it turns on and off when not in use for a while, spins slower when turned on and then reaches full speed after maybe a minute. While not normal, I suspect it's just a minor issue with constant lubes. The manual says it's lubed all the time, so we'll see how it holds up. I give it five stars for its solid construction, powerful airflow, and ease of cleaning. Vornados cost a lot of money, but it's a great fan to know so you can get an idea of what their fan line is all about. Turn it on and stand in front of it and you'll understand why they cost so much. The so-called "Swirl" action is no joke, so if you point it at a wall in a small bathroom, for example (I haven't really tested it in my bedroom), it will surround you with a whoosh of airflow around you, which it is is. . work as stated. Choose larger models for larger spaces. It moves air well no matter what and is great for the kitchen. I decided to use it for a couple of weeks before writing this review so I can properly test it and I'm not the least bit disappointed. However, I've seen a lot of people claiming that this thing has a pretty high bounce rate, so we'll see. Whatever is covered and if it breaks, it has an excellent guarantee. This isn't a $10 fan blowout, seriously. I've already personally spoken to vornado about my concerns about my tower fan and they didn't ask any questions, they were immediately willing to send a new one. They don't mess around with stuff like that, so if you get in trouble, tell them and they'll take care of you. I've seen reviewers say it failed after a few years and just threw it in the trash. Do not do that! I would not recommend this fan for an office cubicle unless used at low and possibly medium power. Because upstairs someone will definitely complain about the noise. I didn't buy it for the quiet, I got it for the air movement and it does it better than any fan I've ever used.
