WOW. The old version of this product was fine. A lower density foam was used, which collapsed after about a year. I wrote a review criticizing the foam and it seems the manufacturer read my review and took it to heart. So last week I bought the product back without knowing it was from the same manufacturer. It has been completely improved. Now it is made of high quality high density foam. I expect this pillow to hold up well and keep its shape. He is very firm and supportive. Good product! I also really appreciate that this wedge is NOT made out of memory foam. Memory foam is not a suitable material for a wedge pillow as it is not designed to hold its shape. Also, most memory foams smell weird and give off gases that irritate my nose and throat. But there is no foam rubber in this pillow. This is good old high-density polyurethane foam that will last for years and never smell.
